This photo of two Concordia students dates
from 100 years ago.It was taken in 1913 soon after Harold D. Koehne enrolled to follow a course of training for the ministry. Because of his short stature, it seems he had difficulty convincing both students and faculty members that his intentions were serious.
Also at that time Walter Paech was the tallest student at Concordia, so it is no surprise that this was a great photo opportunity. Both young men were born in Lobethal and both had attended the same Lutheran Day School.
